JSE Securities Exchange listed-DRD Gold has announced the
appointment of Doug Campbell as chief financial officer (CFO) and
as an executive director of the company.
Campbell (57), previously financial director for Av gold and
Anglo Vaal Mining (Av min), takes over the executive finance position
at DRD Gold from Ian Murray who has been both CEO and CFO for some
time.
Murray Continues as CEO

him a wealth of financial experience, a significant portion of

DRD Gold executive chairperson Mark Wellesley-Wood, commented.
Campbell joined Armin in 1998 and served variously as financial
director and senior vice president for finance before taking up his
position at Av gold in 2003. A chartered accountant, his earlier
career included positions with Arthur Andersen, Hunt Leachers &
Hepburn and Murray & Roberts.
